Business Development Director – Oil & Gas Infrastructure Solutions
Our client, a leading provider of above-ground storage and infrastructure systems, is expanding its presence in the exploration & production (E&P) and midstream oil & gas sectors. Their innovative storage solutions support major operators and energy transition projects across North America.
They are seeking an experienced Business Development Director with a strong hunter mindset to drive new client acquisition, develop untapped accounts, and expand the company’s presence across the oil & gas industry. This is a high-impact, Houston-based role that requires strong relationships in the local market and a track record of closing new business.
Please note: Only candidates currently residing in the Houston area will be considered. This is an in-market, client-facing role that is not eligible for relocation or remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within E&P and midstream oil & gas markets
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to win new accounts and grow market share
• Build relationships from the ground up with operators, midstream firms, and EPCs
• Lead complex sales pursuits from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technical alignment and project feasibility
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events throughout the Houston area

Qualifications:
• 7+ years of business development, sales, or strategic account experience in oil & gas
• Proven success developing new business in the E&P and midstream sectors
• Strong existing network within the Houston energy market
• Experience with infrastructure, storage terminals, or industrial services is preferred
• Deep understanding of the oil & gas project lifecycle and procurement processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• Must be currently located in Houston, TX
