How You Will Have Impact

Reporting to the IT Director, you will be the point person for all things JD Edwards and integrations with supporting third party applications; designing/implementing/supporting JD Edwards E1 based solutions. Assisting you will be an in-house developer and a support team of contract consultants and developers.
Monitor EDI interface for Sales Orders, Invoices and Purchase Orders and troubleshoot any issues.
Monitor “Alert” reports for potential issues and resolve, i.e. sales orders shipped not billed.
Identify issues with other 3rd party tools (TransForm forms, credit card processing, job scheduler, etc.) and coordinate resolution with support structure.
Troubleshoot problems, recommend/design solutions, test applications, train users, implement solutions / apps, and provide support.

Location / Community

Company is located about an hour north of Atlanta in Ball Ground, GA.
Position can be onsite, hybrid or remote with visits to the office for a week, every 2-3 months.
In addition to the headquarters in Georgia and US facilities in NY & CA, global locations include Japan, China, Germany, and Australia.

Background Profile

Strong functional experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications (9.x), including JDE Sales, Purchasing and Inventory modules (5+ years). Experience with Transportation Management is a plus.
Proficiency in JD Edwards development, Orchestrations, SQL programming, Agile methodologies, system troubleshooting and end-user training.
Knowledge of JDE database, common tables, and relationships between them.
Skilled in JDE setup of UDC tables, application constants, processing options, etc.
Ability to prototype, test, walk thru business processes in test system.
Able to learn and support all third-party integrations and be able to provide hands on fixes to problems or coordinate solution with third party support.
Prior work at manufacturing companies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field – or Accounting/Finance with IT skills.
Location: Local to the Ball Ground, GA area or, if outside the area and working remotely, must be located in EST or CST and willing to travel to the office for a week, every 2-3 months.
