Oracle RDBMS/Oracle EBS/SQL Server Database Administrator- Long-term contract - Hybrid

Our central North Dallas client is seeking to hire an experienced Oracle, Oracle EBS and SQL Server DBA for this 6-month to 1-year contract. This is a hybrid position (3 days/week onsite). Must be US citizen or Permanent Resident with TSA PreCheck or ability to qualify for one.

The Position is responsible for administration, management, configuration, documentation, and end-user support of database systems and Oracle E-Business system . The position is also responsible for installations, migrations and upgrades of these systems . Contractor will respond to system emergencies needing database admin support and participate in on-call rotation.

Qualified candidates must have ALL of the following experience:

• Administration of Oracle RDBMS 11g and higher, 5+ years experience
• Administration of Oracle eBusiness R12
• Administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and higher
• Understanding of database backup/recovery, EBS cloning procedure
• Knowledge of PL/SQL – Oracle, TSQL - SQL Server
• Knowledge of administering MS Azure SQL DB
• Knowledge of scripting: Bash Shell, PowerShell (Win), Ansible (Linux-Windows)
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization
• Knowledge of Change Management Process
• Ensuring the security of the organization’s databases and take measures to protect company data
• Documenting the database setup and operations and creating various reports as required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving solving and troubleshooting skills
