Digital Transformation Business Architect – Medicaid (MITA) Long Term Contract
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 remote)
Eligibility: Must be local to Austin and eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or visa transfer. No C2C or third-party vendors.
Contract: Long-Term (starting Fall 2025)
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Architect with extensive experience in Medicaid systems and MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture). This role will lead digital transformation and business process reengineering initiatives, aligning business strategy with operational execution for large-scale enterprise programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead large-scale digital transformation and process reengineering projects.
• Apply MITA framework and contribute to MITA State Self-Assessments (SS-A).
• Develop and maintain business architecture artifacts (BPMN, UML, ArchiMate models).
• Collaborate with leadership, IT, and business units to define requirements and future-state processes.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure solution alignment.
Qualifications:
• 12+ years progressive experience in business architecture or related strategic roles.
• 12+ years leading enterprise digital transformation/BPR projects.
• 10+ years demonstrable expertise with MITA in complex environments.
• 8+ years of advanced business modeling (BPMN, UML, ArchiMate, enterprise frameworks).
• Strong analytical, communication, and change management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Certifications (CBAP, TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
