MS SQL Server Database Administrator – Long-Term Contract

Location: Central North Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

We are seeking a Microsoft SQL Server DBA for a long-term W2 contract in Dallas. The role requires strong experience in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and optimization in large-scale environments (300GB–12TB), with additional exposure to Oracle DB administration. You’ll work with Azure SQL Managed Instances, Always-On Availability Groups, and automation tools to support enterprise-grade database operations.

Requirements:

7+ years in IT, including 5+ years as a SQL Server DBA

Strong expertise in performance optimization, security, and automation (PowerShell/Python)

Hands-on with Azure SQL and Always-On Availability Groups

Working knowledge of Oracle DB administration

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder, local to Dallas, and onsite 3 days per week

W2 only — no C2C or third-party vendors
